Privacy Policy — a colouring site that barely knows you exist
There is no account, no profile, no score, no streak. Colouring happens inside your browser, your drawings stay on your device, and the only thing we ever receive is a message you chose to send us.
Last updated: 30 August 2026 · Applies to coloringvemsy.com⚡ The short version
- We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or age, and there is nothing to sign up to.
- Nothing you colour, draw or upload is sent to us or saved on our server — it lives only in your browser.
- The “Keep it” button stores a copy of your drawing in your own browser, so you can resume it on the same device.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles from what your child colours.
- Your internet provider and our hosting company do see ordinary technical data (IP address, browser type) — that is how a website loads at all.
- Questions about privacy are answered by a person: WhatsApp 0326 9909771 or contact@coloringvemsy.com.
1 Who is responsible for this site
This policy covers the colouring pages and the online colouring studio at coloringvemsy.com, including the colouring studio page. It is run as a small independent studio by the people behind ColoringVemsy. You can reach us any time on WhatsApp at 0326 9909771 (international: +92 326 9909771) or by email at contact@coloringvemsy.com. If you write to us, we read it and reply — that is the entire data pipeline.
2 What we do not collect
Because there is no account, there is also no password to steal and no database to leak. That is on purpose: a colouring site does not need to know who you are.
3 Your drawings, uploads and “Keep it”
The studio is a program that runs on your device. When you fill a shape, paint with the brush or draw your own line, the change is written to your screen only.
- Uploads stay local. If you press “Upload” and pick a photo or a scanned page, your browser reads the file and draws it on the canvas. The file is not posted to a server, is not emailed to us, and is not stored in any folder we can open.
- “Save PNG” simply puts the finished picture into your own device’s downloads or Photos app. We never see that file.
- “Keep it” writes a small copy of your drawing into your browser’s local storage so you can press “Resume” on the same device later (a handful of works, newest first). It is browser storage, not an account: clearing your site data, using private/incognito mode or changing device will remove it, and we cannot restore it for you — because we never had it.
- “Copy link” shares the address of the colouring page so another person can open the same picture. It contains the page name only; nothing about you.
Anything you print, you keep. We claim no rights over your finished artwork — see the terms page for what you may and may not do with the underlying line art.
4 Technical data that a website cannot avoid
When any page loads, some information travels between your device and our host. This is standard and, on this site, not linked to any profile of you.
| What | Who sees it | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| IP address, browser and device type | Your internet provider; our hosting and security provider for abuse prevention | To deliver the page and block automated attacks or scraping | Only as long as the host’s security logs require |
| Which URL was requested and the referring site | Our host, in aggregate form | To see which pages work, which are missing, and whether links are broken | Aggregate totals; not sold or shared |
| Page load times and errors on your device | Nobody — nothing is phoned home from the studio | We rely on you telling us (WhatsApp or email), which we prefer anyway | Only as long as your message sits in our inbox |
| Your saved drawings | Only your browser, only on your device | So you can finish the picture later | Until you clear site data or remove the entry |
ℹ️ We use no third-party advertising trackers and no external fonts or scripts inside the colouring tool, so the tool itself cannot leak anything while your child is using it.
5 Cookies and local storage
🍪 Almost none
The colouring pages set no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. A cookie may appear only if you log into the WordPress admin area — that is for the website’s own editors, not visitors.
💾 Local storage
Your saved works and a couple of small preferences live in browser storage, not on a server. No name is attached to them, and they cannot be read by another website.
📊 Traffic totals
If a privacy-friendly count of visitors is enabled on this site, it reports totals — how many, which page, which country — and does not build a history of an individual visitor.
🚫 Your choice
Clearing site data in your browser settings removes everything, including saved drawings. Nothing needs to be switched off for the pages to keep working.
6 Children’s privacy
ColoringVemsy is made for children, and that is exactly why it collects nothing. There is no chat, no comments, no uploads to us, no profile and no behavioural advertising — so there is no personal information of a child to gather, keep or hand over.
- Colouring needs no account, so a child is never asked who they are.
- A grown-up should stay nearby on shared devices, mainly to control what else the browser can reach.
- If you are a parent or school and want a device policy that suits you, tell us — for a classroom we can point you to the “print only, no network after load” way of using the pages.
- If a screenshot of a child’s work ends up in a message to us, we treat it as private: it is not published, and it is deleted as soon as the conversation is finished.
7 Who helps us run the site
These are the only outside services in the chain. Each one sees technical data needed to do its job — none of them receives your drawings.
- Web hosting and WordPress — stores the pages and serves them over HTTPS.
- Cloudflare (security and delivery network) — blocks attacks and caches the pages closer to you; it may keep security logs of requests.
- Your email provider or WhatsApp — whichever you choose to write to us with; those messages are then in our normal inbox, not in a marketing system.
- Print dialog and image saving — handled entirely by your own browser and printer app.
8 Messages you send us
If you write to report a broken page, request a colouring sheet or ask about a classroom licence, we keep the message and the reply in our inbox so we can follow up. We use it only for that conversation — never for advertising, never sold, never handed to a data broker. You can ask us to delete the thread at any time by replying “delete this” to the email.
9 Sharing, transfer and legal disclosure
We do not share personal data for marketing. It could only ever be disclosed if we are legally required to — a valid court order or a genuine safety emergency — or in the unlikely event the site is transferred to another owner, in which case this policy travels with it. The site is operated from Pakistan and served through a global delivery network, so technical data may be processed in a country other than yours; that is the normal state of the open web, and it is the same for any website you visit.
10 Security, honestly described
Pages and images are served over HTTPS, there are no passwords or payment data to lose, and the studio keeps everything on your own device — which is the safest design available for a kids’ site. No website can promise perfect security, so we do not. What we can promise is that there is nothing sensitive here to steal, and that we will tell you plainly, on this page, if that ever changes.
11 Your rights, in plain words
- Know: ask us what we hold about you and, realistically, the answer is “one email thread, if you wrote to us”.
- Correct or delete: ask and we fix or remove it, usually the same day.
- Port: nothing is locked in — your drawings are PNGs you already saved yourself.
- Object or withdraw: no marketing exists to unsubscribe from; clearing site data removes the local saved works.
- Complain: you may always escalate to your local data protection authority. We would rather you message us first — most things are a two-minute fix.
If you are in the EU, UK, Canada, California or elsewhere with their own privacy rules, these rights are the ones that matter here, and there is no data-mining for the site to be excused from.
12 Keeping pages for a school or a library
A teacher who wants an offline pack, a printed class set, or pages hosted on a school network with no outside calls may ask, and we will normally say yes in writing. We ask only for what the picture is used for — no student details, no forms, no paperwork.
13 Changes to this policy
When something material changes — a new service, a new feature that could touch privacy — this page is edited and the date at the top moves. Using the site after that date means you have the current version. Old versions are not hidden but are not kept either: if you need a snapshot of what was promised on a given day, email us and we will send you the text.
14 Talk to a human
Privacy question, a thing that felt odd, a school policy that needs a yes or no in writing — we would rather hear it from you than guess.
